"Did I leave my tilapia in your car?"
My snowbird friend called with that question yesterday.
She lives in NH most of the year.
She and Miz t. had been grocery shopping together.

"Let me check."
I asked Miz t.
"No, I don't think so. I'll go look."
Nope, no stray tilapia in the car.

"Sorry Tish, no tilapia."
"I KNOW I bought some. We were going to have them for dinner tonight and I can't find them. Maybe I didn't get one of my grocery bags?"
"Yeah, that happens. Sorry."

Tish just called.
"I went over my grocery receipt and there's no tilapia listed. Then I remembered that I'd bought them in New Hampshire. Nevermind."
Us seniors are a hoot.
