I think it will eventually gross over $500 million between theaters, DVDs, TV etc. He financed it himself, but theaters take a cut and so does the distribution company. How much will be left for him? About $150-200 Million?

I dunno. I have not seen it. I outright refuse to see it, and not just because Gibby strays from the bible - which is okay because the bible has probably been translated dozens of times, with the translation being altered by the translator for personal gain.

this is Mel's pet project. I think the jew thing influenced him (his dad) and to show that "Jesus suffered for us". My remark was explaining what the freepers think, not Mel.
