Why the hate for Iggy's "TV Eye"?
Come on - this is a perfect artifact of the late 70's Iggy - changing recording qualities, horribly awful acoustics - this is a snapshot of what was.

That's one of the best punk songs ever. Especially since it came out about 6 years before punk coalesced as a musical genre.
The riff is killer, the tone is searing, what's not to like?

I mean the live album
It is mixed on the cheap from disparate tapes - but it just works

Even though the sound quality SUCKS, the music just works in an underground way

Not sure of where that Iggy intro came from, but I remember it vividly and it made me love the song.
