Poll question: Ice cream
By "ice cream", I'm talking about REAL ice cream - the kind where you actually recognize all of the ingredients without having to consult Wikipedia.

36. A hint -
crush some salted peanuts - they MUST be salted - and sprinkle on top.

We grew up with those - called CMP - chocolate, marshmallow, peanuts.

Over vanilla ice cream, though. It would work with chocolate, too.

I really want one now.

26. Yes, it depends on the brand.
Breyers makes a good vanilla with bits of bean. So does Publix. French Vanilla tends to have more egg yolks which makes it richer and creamer and adds that yellow color.

I used to be a Breyers fan, but have you noticed that they've increased the amount of air in their i.c.? SO, I 'shop' elsewhere now!

30. Since I shouldn't be eating it anyway and only buy ice cream about twice a year
I had not noticed. Extra air would lead me to believe I was eating more than I thought so maybe I'd eat less. For me, that would be a good thing!
