Insulting your primary election candidate of choice - This is pretty obvious. The primary wars permeated and spread lulz to all aspects of DU
Insulting your region of the country - Oddly enough, it's more offensive to talk shit about the Confederate flag (now defunct) than it is to call out a state like Kansas (still open for business). Go figure.
Insulting your favorite band/musical artist - Though seemingly of the least offensive, I believe the lack of DU regulation allows us to use music as a scape goat for other offensive and lulzy talk ("if you're not into Motown you're obviously racist" - wait, I'm going to have to save that one. It's pretty good)
Insulting your favorite TV show - Most TV talk goes nowhere but the occasional eruption over content, actors, or genre can often lead to the average DU'er spasming on the ground and spitting out slurs as though they were demonically possessed.
Insulting your favorite restaraunt (sp?) - As with music, food can lead to vicious (and thereby hilarious) attacks on regionalism, political affiliation, and of course, taste.
Insulting your favorite sports team - But wait, isn't sports talk the most heated? Sure, but it's between a select few and during specific times of the year.
Insulting your state - *yawn* Never really goes anywhere, and in today's mobile age, half of us have lived a little bit of everywhere.
Insulting your religion/spiritual beliefs (or professed lack thereof) - Always gets shut down before it ever gets hot.
Insulting your mother - We're desensitized to mom jokes.
