I've been doing this long enough that I don't really get dumbfounded too often during interviews with famous people, but when that guy called and said, "Hi this is Spider Stacy..." my first reaction was, "Um... uh..."

a buddy of mine here saw em about 2 years ago with Shane in a wheel-chair. He even called me from NYC to tell me!

And his head moved kinda like a bobblehead doll. Also, he has no teeth. And his skin is kinda yellowish. But, hey, the fact that the guy's still pushing air through his gums is pretty impressive when you get down to it. Shane MacGowan should probably be dead a hundred times over.

my grandfather was also one of those sailing over, he was from Cork as well. But he ended up in Western New York.

Hi,
Traditional Irish song I believe. Bob Dylan covered it, but the 1977 Paul Brady version which can be seen on the youtube is quite enjoyable.
