Engaging in a personal diatribe against a visionary rock legend because you don't like him for whatever reason, and then offering Danny Elfman as a counter point to said rock legend.

Danny Elfman. Danny Fucking Elfman. Danny Oingo-Boingo 1980s New Wave Elfman. Seriously. Danny Elfman.

Other than "The Simpsons" theme music, is there anything remotely praiseworthy about Danny Elfman?

Danny Elfman has recorded just about every type of modern music possible in an 8 piece band from Punk to Ska to Reggae to High Life to Calypso to Jazz while keeping true to Rock n Roll form.

Danny Elfman and his band would play for 3 hours straight and not act like a fucking imbecile on stage.

Danny Elfman didn't go through band members like condoms.

Danny Elfman has 1 BILLION dollars worth of movie ticket sales under his belt when it comes to scoring films.

Danny Elfman has been nominated for Emmy's, Grammy's, and Oscar's.

Danny Elfman isn't an asshole.

6. You're right, comparing Corgan to Elfman is like comparing Pauly Shore to Orson Welles.

Elfman/Welles are so far beyond the talentless half-wit asshat jackass garbage they're being compared to, it's fucking ludicrous.
