I liked watchmen...

But next time, I'm sneaking in my own snacks. $10.25 for popcorn and a drink?

I know that's where the theaters make their money, but it's still highway robbery.

1. Funny you mention popcorn...

because when I saw that movie, I ruined a brand new pair of jeans with popcorn butter. My friend had bought me a bag ( I rarely eat anything in the theater ) and about halfway through the movie I realized that the butter was actually leaking through the bottom of the frigging bag!!! all over my new jeans. I tried washing the things...the damn stain is still there! :mad:

2. Don't dry them!!

It'll set. Just keep washing them over and over in dishwashing detergent or other surfactant-heavy detergent and it'll come out eventually. If you've already set the stain, then your only option is to stain them consistently all over so the stain doesn't show...I suggest mineral oil instead of butter.

5. FYI

the color will get darker with the mineral oil. It should turn the same color as the stain everywhere. Test it on a hem, inside the waist or someplace else inconspicuous like the bottom of a leg because some people don't like the look of it once done. If the stain is small or not obvious, I'd just leave it alone. Also, you're going to need a lot of mineral oil. Denim soaks up and holds liquids like a sponge.

We sneak in drinks and candy.
then we buy one large popcorn, get a drink holder and split the popcorn between the two.
there is no way in hell I'm paying that much for soda or candy, popcorn is the exception.
