OK, who here has dated a frenchman and was it REALLY good?
I'm asking cause there has been a delightful, lovely, adorable, delectable french man "on my door step,' sending me romantic emails and generally wooing me for a few weeks now... and he even comes with a title!

Why can't American men be as dashing, romantic and still manly as french men?

5. How 'bout a French Gal?
Actually, she was Basque-French -- a Zuberoako -- her ancestral homeland was Soule. She was crazy as the day is long, but fun to be with and certainly not a porcelain dolly or a Barbie clone.

Alas, she had been engaged to a guy who dumped her for a lithe blond. When he realized his mistake and returned bearing apologies and gifts, I became part of her histoire romantique.

I'm not French, but I'm dashing, romantic, and dare I say, manly. I'm also currently unemployed, which seems to mean a lot more to American women. And we're fresh out of Basques and Frenchwomen around here.

7. Time for a reality check.
Frenchmen. He smoke? If he smokes like a Frenchman, there may be this unfortunate impotence problem.

It got so bad the French government authorized studies. Tobacco constricts blood vessels. Where does a man not want his blood vessels constricted?

Frenchmen. Great image, functional difficulties.

9. He doesn't smoke; he DESPISES smoking... and he doesn't drink either...
can you imagine? And he doesn't drink COFFEE. He drinks tea!

Athletic too, and is raising his son, who's the same age as my daughter. (Mother is in St. Martin, son decided to live with daddy)

He's like perfect.

8. I have and he was a really nice man.
He used to wine and dine me and take me to some great night clubs. And we used to walk along the beaches in So. Fr. So much for my youth.

11. he DOES, doesn't he? I think I'm going to keep him for a little while...
seems like a good move.

he's a year older than me, and I haven't dated a fellow my age or older in almost 20 years. And our birthdays are 5 days apart, we're both Leos.. and anyone into astrology knows that Leos are the only signs that SHOULD pair up with each other.

***sigh***

Countess Radwriter?
