2. I liked it -- "Angels walk among us."
I guess Hera was Eve.

Mary McDonnell deserves an Emmy.

5. I agree about her deserving an Emmy, 100% (spolier)
I made it through most of the show with my emotions in check. But when her hands went limp and she stayed silent, I completely lost it. I was bawling for a good ten minutes before it finally stopped... Only to start again when Adama was sitting alone on the hillside beside her grave, talking to her.

Gods, here come the tears again...

6. I started when (spoiler)
Adam said goodbye to Lee (gag) and Kara, and gave Kara the fatherly hug and kiss he's always wanted to.... and it continued as he showed her the world and through her dying...

(Of course, this is the EXACT TIME the dogs started being bad and Haruka was trying to find her cigarette -- arrgghhh -- Gods!)

4. I thought it fit ...

The series had an underlying spirituality always. That can't be fully explained. If they'd tried, it wouldn't have been genuine. We don't fully understand Head Six or Head Baltar either.

They're just angels.

I hated it, which means it was perfect.

And Mary McDonnell does deserve an Emmy. Several aspects of that show deserve awards.

Some of us are watching the series on DVD godammit!!

(And there's nothing in the thread title to indicate that this is BSG thread, otherwise I never would have clicked on it.)
