1. Not perfect...
but a helluva good way to save some money.

It's easy and it works 95% of the time. Occasionally, it just drops a call. But sound quality has been excellent and the price can't be beat (nothing else even comes close).

2. We have it and are pleased with it.
You need to have it hooked up to a computer that is on all the time. Sometimes we need to reboot the machine to get the phone to work, but for the money we save, a few minor inconveniences are acceptable.

3. So how much money has it saved you per month...?
Just curious.

4. Somewhere between $40 and $50.
We were paying about $85 per month to AT&T for phoneline and DSL. Now we pay about $40 per month for cable internet and have not had a phone bill from MJ yet (because we activated it back in September - and the price of the hardware includes 1 year of phone service). When the year is up, I will pay $19.95 plus taxes for the next year of service.

7. I like it, to bad
our phone company is being a pita. I tried to cut off my land line, but they told me if I did cut off my land line, I would also be losing internet/cable...I think its bs, so I wasted 40 bucks on a magic jack, but when I make long distance calls back home, I'll use it, so it will pay itself off.

It worked good for me, some very minor distortion when I called Anchorage, but other than that...it worked good, quality of my phone calls were an 8 out of 10....
