3. I have a whole herd of extinguishers as well as a hose in the house and barn.

For some unknown reason I have never carried one in the vehicles.

3 (bathrooms - you never know when a fart might ignite)

2 (basement)
3 or more (lost somewhere in boxes)

On Edit: wait, make that 20 - the van has two but one of them discharged when I moved the seat back, so technically I guess I'm still at 19 or so.

16. Quite a few

I keep a small one under the kitchen sink. A big one in the garage. One small one in the airplane. One big one in the hangar. I don't keep them in my vehicles because it gets a bit too hot here in Texas and most I've seen have a 140 degree storage temp limitation.
