Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday. But the work-shop was very interesting and I learned a lot. Just took quite some time.

This morning I woke up and looked out of the window ... and it snowed!!! :wow: Excuse me Mister Weathergod, but do you know what month we have??? And that the spring time started already???

Sorry about the snow.
Mother nature can be a real b_tch sometimes ;)
I got my first ticket ever yesterday for expired tags on my car. I had no idea they were expired.
62 bucks and I have to get my truck legal today. Perfect timing for a newly unemployed guy. :mad:
Besides all that I'm good.

That starts at 3 this afternoon lol

Mom's doing ok, yesterday her pain levels were up, but it was her only bad day in the last week or so. Thank you so much for asking :hug:

I am doing fine. The work-shop yesterday was about creating and maintaining a homepage. I love stuff like that and learned a lot yesterday.
At my job I learn something new almost daily. One of the reasons I like my job so much.

Very nice spring-like photo. It's only 37F here. The birds are chirping here so I'm guessing spring is coming. I can only hope - right? ;)

Rain - yuk! It rained cats and dogs yesterday - ALL DAY! I'm just glad it was warm enough to rain rather than snow.

But at least the snow has melted from my patio and I can reach my grill. Think I'll be cooking outdoors this weekend. :)

the cats. :)

In my old place I cooked outdoors all the time, and that was my intent when I moved here. I left my grill out on the patio, easy access through the patio doors - right? But it snowed so much I couldn't reach it. Now I'm craving a good burger or a nice steak on the grill. This weekend my craving will be satisfied. ;)

You are right, web stuff can be addictive. It isn't like I have a lot of freedom to create something but maintain the page. Still, I enjoy that a lot.

creative on our website either. We have two excellent webmasters. They are so geeky and soooo cute, and truly have amazing computer brains. We leave the important stuff up to them.

Got a luncheon meeting today, so I don't have to pack a lunch. Oh, it's those little things that make us happy. ;)

My practical side just wishes for a job at the end of it all. I know if I really would bust my butt I could probably get a Nurse Practitioner's degree and license and get schooling paid for. But I've done enough work with doctors and sick people for one lifetime. And I don't want to be stuck in some small town clinic I know I'd be required to work in exchange for free tuition.

of Obama's speech, so I stayed up late to watch the Mentalist. I'm slightly addicted to that show. It's embarrassing.

I can't really say yet if I like it or not. It is strange. What they also started showing is "Life" and that show I find great. The comments are hilarious partly.

I love those old books too. And we have a bunch of them in our stack.

I like those shows, I love watching CSI (except Miami), NCIS, Criminal Intent, Cold Case, Bones and now Life. (Did I miss one? :) ) ... (on edit) yup, forgot Criminal Minds :)

I think it will change again. In the 90s we had all those hospital shows, then the law shows and now the cop shows .... sooner or later they come up with something new.

I watch those too - mostly CSI: New York, Bones, Psych and Criminal Minds (and The Mentalist :)). I just started watching the new show, Castle. I'm on the fence about that one. Love the male lead, but the rest of the cast is pretty weak.

66.  I just got home from the all-night shift I mentioned in your last "good morning" thread, MHC.
I don't mind working odd hours, and I'm certainly glad of the money,
but this schedule has me a bit discombobulated.
I've ben having trouble remembering what day it is...
Not the actual numerical DATE, but the day itself:
Monday, Wednsday...I've lost track of that in my head.

Yesterday afternoon, I had a dream where I was walking down the stret
doing a bit of shopping, and everyone around me was very distressed
by the fact that the SUN was directly overhead at 2:00 AM in the morning.
