Has anyone ever ordered furniture from Overstock.com or the like?

I've been looking like crazy for a nice looking queen bed locally and can't find a single one I like in ANY price range, much less in the modest range I'm looking for. So I check out Overstock and find a couple I just love; both have rave reviews and are made of wood, not particleboard.

It's hard to believe they could be that great and not be in a brick-and-mortar store. I'm just this close to ordering one of them (I've finally started to lean heavily twoard one in particular) but can't quite bring myself there yet. Shipping is $2.95.

So please, if you've had experience good or bad with ordering furniture online, help a "finally into a place of her very, very own" DUer out?!

bedroom from Overstock.com. No problems. I like the chair a lot and got a decent price.

She had a good experience and raved about the simplicity of it all.

I'm not sure that a mattress set qualifies as "furniture", but I know she was very impressed with the purchase, the shipping, and the end product.

It was the largest item I ever bought online. I was very happy with the delivery and quality of the mattress.

I'd also recommend www.everythingfurniture.com. I bought 2 bookcases there. They're good quality and easy to put together.

Assemble-it-yourself deal, but it is all solid wood and looks nice and is very functional. It was pretty inexpensive, and they're great on shipping. I'd buy from them again.
