Quick! How do you make hot pastrami on rye sandwiches?
I figure it's probably not hard but I just want to be sure I've got all the steps down.

Gotta make them ASAP. Hubby needs to get to basketball. :D

3. You need some Swiss cheese
Heat a pan, butter the bread, stack cheese-meat-cheese and flip until both sides are crispy brown

Serve with a side of chips!

That's a great recipe

You can substitute the onion for drained sauerkraut and the mustard for Thousand Island dressing and make a mean Reubens

6. I just heat a frying pan
put pastrami in it and heat add the
cheese if wanted

then put it on the rye bread.....

add mustard!

9. There you have it.
Keep it simple. Never use any of that goyische yellow mustard, and if you even think of using mayonnaise, kill yourself now. Microwaving bread really screws up the texture, so don't do that.

Hard to get good pastrami in Houston.

7. You warm the pastrami, and then put it on the room-temperature rye bread.
Don't try to warm the bread with the pastrami; it will get soggy that way.
