Prednisone dose doubled and I'm on it for another week

I'm just barely getting better every day. After 5 days since my trip to the ER, my numbers should be much higher. So, the dosage was doubled and I'm on it for an additional week. I'm worn out. Going to bed.

I'm on Prednisone (lowest dose) and have been for nearly 16 years (renal transplant).

Slept for over 4 hours. :) The increased dose seems to be helping. I feel a little more alert and there's less struggling to get air moving. Finally...

12. I take it every day to survive.

And because of it and a couple of other nasties I need to take, I cannot shake off the 38 pounds (remaining) I put on since my last dain boomer. At one point it was 55 lbs. But it's been 18 months and my body says "buy new clothes Dain, you ain't getting back to looking like Paul Tuttle Sr. any time soon".
