Buddy & Larry fight too much- what to do with these two dogs?
Buddy has to be at least sixteen years old. He is blind in one eye & is showing his age. He is a sweet old dog and is also Larry's father. Of the three male pups that Buddy sired Larry seems to be the dominant one. He usually shows submission to Buddy but occasionally buddy pushes him to far and they have a little fight. Buddy always seems to end up getting his ear bit and bleeds all over the place. It is usually nothing serious and looking at his ears it has happened many times in the past with other dogs. It doesn't seem to keep him from pushing Larry though. I have been spraying both dogs in the face with water when they start growling at each other, it usually works. There are times when I am not around and they get into it. Is there anything I could do to get the old guy to stop? He feels that Larry is taking over his role as Alpha male of the pack (I have six in all).

Oh, here are the required pictures;

This is Buddy.

This is Larry.

(Larry's mom was an American eskimo dog.)
