I'm having a screaming night.
One of those nights when I just want to stand naked in the teeth of a storm, screaming my rage and fustration into an empty sky, and to an uncaring God.........and I have no idea why.

*deep soft sigh*

one for cans on the back porch...somehow, the can itself only fell off the porch, but the bag that had been inside it is probably in Wilmington by now. :D

I can never remember the day that's my day and wind up taking the stuff to Eubanks road myself.

No worries, no flickers. We lost power at work, but it was back on by this morning.

72. We lost a tree.
Big old pine tree. I heard it crack and yelled upstairs "here it comes". Heard the thud and waited for the house to shake. But we were spared. The tree took out the neighbor's garage and clipped the corner of their house instead. Man, what a mess.

Glad to hear everyone else came through ok.

My suggestion - go out a scream it wont hurt anyone and if there's anything around that you can break without it causing to much grief when you've calmed down (I can lend you an incompetant 50 year old woman that no-one will miss if you need!) that can help to

60. I understand
I hate my life. My life is a miserable existence. All I do is take care of other people and work and wait to get out of the Hell of a marriage I'm in. No one in my life cares about my happiness or my feelings, nor did anyone ever. No man exists that won't ultimately use me in one way or another to feel better about himself (people can use someone emotionally too), then discard me and treat me like I don't even deserve to be their friend! My own mother hates me because she's crazy. My best friend of 16 years moved out of state and we hardly talk now. I fit in absolutely nowhere. I'm not depressed, but I'm very sad right now. I'm an attractive, intelligent, nice person, and I'm pretty positive most of the time believe it or not despite the fact I'm bitching presently. Because I inherently have some good qualities within myself, people think maybe I'm stronger than I sometimes feel inside myself. It's just very, very hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel that is my existence. I don't want to be a bitter person. I don't want to build another wall around myself. I don't want to escape my problems with some vice. I just want, for once in my life, to have some happiness, to not have my every dream crushed, and to have an ounce of pleasure.

I'm taking every step in order to do that. I can't change what's around me completely yet, so I changed myself for the better. Thanks for the welcome. I'm not new. This is just my name I bring out on occasion when I'm feeling blue sometimes and I don't want to post under my regular name. If I were new I wouldn't have some of the current emotional difficulties I have presently. Right now I wish I were.
