1. I'm offended that there's no Senior Discount on purchasing the hat.

7. As defined by AARP, yes.
It's their way of expanding their membership. Plus now it's not just a bunch of old farts at the meetings.

(Oh shit, I just realized I'll be a senior in 4½ years!     Maybe it's time I started growing up...)

4. Yes, I've noted cashiers ALWAYS look for slogans on caps worn by people.

Oh, the cap looks butt-ugly too. Same shady as honky butt too.

6. The slogan is on the wrong side.
How are people going to read it if it's facing the other direction?

14. omg
I hope my wife doesn't see this, she will be sure to get me one :(

She has been giving me hell ever since an incident that happened a few months ago. I'm 45, she's 41. We were out one day picking some things up and at one stop, I got asked if I had an AARP card so I could get a discount. At the next stop, she was getting beer and got asked to show her ID to make sure she was old enough to buy it.

It's not fair, I tell ya, not fair at all!

15. It wouldn't help ... now, where'd I leave that goldurned hat?
I could spend hours searching for the thing, when it's on my head the whole time.

20. I cut this out of my paper the other day!
I laughed so hard and called my dad (who's almost 70) and told him I have the hat for him. He laughed his ass off, but would never wear it; it's not his type, I was mainly busting on the "sen" in the corner.

21. As a certified (and possibly certifiable) geezer, this offends me.
The cap, not the post.
;-)
"Henh, henh, I'm a SENIOR! Ya OWE me. Whaddaya GOT fer me?"

I also hate 'Earlybird' restaurant discounts where you eat cheaper if you go for supper at 5 p.m.
Who the hell eats supper at 5 p.m.?
It's demeaning.

And the all-you-can-eat buffets.
Pig...out.

Many (most?) seniors will show up for a cheap or free meal meal anywhere.
At least the northern snowbirds we get down here.
And not necessarily the ones who are in dire financial straits.

I'd much rather eat at home.
Cheaper and healthier than the feedbag cheapos.

Oh sure, if there's a senior discount on movie tickets or meals at my acceptable times, I'll take it.
And thank you very much.
But I ain't rearranging my entire lifestyle, or wearing a tacky dickhead cap, to get some penny ante discount.

End of rant.
Am I taking this too seriously?
;-)
