I cancelled my subscription to our local newspaper today.
The new publisher, who insists on writing op-eds, is a raving right-winger, a Glenn Beck type, practically a John Bircher. I'm not giving this SOB my not-all-that-hard-earned money. They make the whole paper available free online. So, I'll read it that way until they get smart and start charging, and/or until the print edition meets its demise.

I hate these small town newspapers who hired these nutjobs and give 'em a podium to rouse the rabble. Well, I am one rabble who will not be roused!!!

2. I did. Both when I made the call to cancel, and in the comments
section of his latest right wing diatribe.
