Marilyn Chambers dies at 56; '70s porn star and Ivory Snow model

By Dennis McLellan
April 14, 2009

Marilyn Chambers, the legendary adult movie queen who was the wholesome model on Ivory Snow detergent boxes in the early 1970s when she made her adult movie debut in the X-rated classic "Behind the Green Door," has died. She was 56. Chambers was found unconscious Sunday evening at her home in Canyon Country, said Los Angeles County coroner's spokesman Ed Winter. The cause of death is under investigation, but foul play is not suspected and an autopsy is pending.

Edited on Mon Apr-13-09 08:45 PM by RandomThoughts
but on second thought, instead of playing clips, how about a Princes bride music video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvTCffd2ElA

(Note: No current news story correlation.)

Unlike those that just strive for lesser reasons,
Wesley is a true and honorable pirate,
And with the Giant, and the Spaniard,
stormed the castle, to save his princess.

Such a great story.

Some favorite lines,
Miracle Max: Have fun stormin' da castle.
Valerie: Think it'll work?
Miracle Max: It would take a miracle.

You got to watch the movie. It is an strong limb movie with many branches.

81. Actually I don't think of it as a children's movie
It's extemely clever satire of the fairy tales and pirate movies that most of us grew up on---I actually think alot of the humor is NOT aimed at children...most of those I know who saw it and loved it were adults when they saw it...and I have read stories from the original author William Golding which makes me think he was aiming it at adults
