I have come to the conclusion that Minnesota really only has 2 seasons...
Winter, and Road Construction.

On a drive to the Drs. office this morning I had to dodge construction everywhere, take detours, and alternate routes the entire way...

1. In my 3-mile commute to work, I had TWO detours
One right at the end of my street (Kent & Selby-- they're digging up some crap there), and another on the 7th St Ramp from I-94 through downtown. Needless to say, I was almost late for a fairly important conference call this morning :grr:

3. I hate it, I really do
you would think that someone, somewhere, would have figured out by now how to build a road that can survive the seasonal changes better than the ones we have now.

6. I think we can, but Gov. Cheapskate doesn't believe in spending the $$$
At least, that's my opinion. YMMV. ;)

2. My dear Pierre.Suave!
I hear this complaint a lot from folks like yourself who live in states that have "real" seasons!

Out here in sunny California, this stuff goes on nearly all year round!

:P

It's not fun, either, for any of us...

Hope you're feeling better today, sweetie...

4. I am feeling better Peggy, thanks
I can talk today, which is a huge improvement, and the pain has gone down some.

8. ...election season and August 15th.
It is even possible that Former Sen. Coleman may file a last-ditch appeal on August 15th. :P

9. He lives in my neighborhood
And everybody there hates his clowny ass.

His career in Minnesota politics is over. If he knows what's good for himself, he'll stick with his new lobbying gig and call it a day.

I find it highly amusing that Coleman lives in such a "blue" neighborhood.

Perhaps you should start a neighborhood initiative to put out all the Franken yard signs again...

11. Funny you should say that...
there's still quite a few that are still up from last fall! And not a Coleman sign in sight!

The funny thing about Norm is that nobody liked him even when he was a Democrat, either! He was tolerated at best by most of the party. Nobody trusted him then, and it turns out for good reason, too.

It was 70+ degrees the week I was there last April..until the day I left..then the temperature dropped to the 40's and it snowed that night..Someone threatened to kidnap me as a weather totem...;)

20. according to Jeff Foxworthy, St. Louis has a couple more seasons
than that...

If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction, you might live in St. Louis.

Our seasons are normal fishing and ice fishing. A least, that's how it is from my perspective.
