I'm home from Italy
pictures to come this weekend, or early next week.

Good overall trip. No problems with my wife & I going ourselves and figuring out the trains, buses & subways of Italy & France.

We ended up visiting 4 countries: Italy, the Vatican, France & Monaco.

Believe it or not, we found the French people in Nice (and Monaco/Monte-Carlo) to be nicer overall than people in Italy.

I'll post more later, but I've been up for 23 hours straight now, and need some sleep.

4. had a flight attendent announce on the flight to JFK
if there was a doctor on board... then, somebody got wheeled out on a stretcher as soon as we got to JFK. I thought that only happened in movies.

6. Unfortunately, it happens more often than I care to think about
Some people wait until they are too old to travel well and....well...it's just sad. :(
