Lack of sleep seems to be a bad problem lately...

I am worried for someone who is having the same problem...and I also wrestle with insomnia.

I guess I can blurt out on the board that I started Vicodin again today...so I feel wired.
Countdown to midnight...and then I'll try to crash...

Thinking about not sleeping makes it worse...

Vicodin, because I ran out. I know all too well that "wired" feeling. For me personally, it is kind of like it makes me feel so good that I do not want to sleep.

I am really sorry that you are having enough pain that requires the use of Vicodin. Pain is a terrible thing, and only we know what we are going through, right?

When I have that Vicodin insomnia, what I do is lay back and concentrate on the feeling of the medication, and then try to think of something or someone that makes me happy. That usually tends to do the trick...usually.

You take care of yourself, and get rid of that pain (or at least manage it).

Pain sucks...I hope you're doing okay without the meds. I have to wean off every now and then...just so I won't be dependent....I know when it happens, so I tell on myself. That's a hard thing to do!
