Name one of your favorite new bands
Tinted Windows, the new supergroup, is one of mine. Power pop at its finest! The CD is out this month.

4. I like the live Tinted Windows show that was broadcast on DirecTV.
I suspect I'll like the polished versions of the tunes on the album more, though. Live, they sounded like you could take out Taylor Hanson and put in Robin Zander, and you'd get a new Cheap Trick album.

6. The self-titled album is one of my most anticipated albums
They do sound a little like Big Star and Cheap Trick, but with a modern sheen.

5. Gogol Bordello
They have one of the most unique sounds out there and a very interesting frontman. Can't wait for their new album later this year.

12. Opeth
and Coheed and Cambria....

I was going to ask you this mvd, I was listening to the radio last night, it was a metal/heavy rock station...the song started off with a Banjo, and then some heavy riffs came across, but the banjo came back and forth throughout the song....

I don't recall any lyrics, but the style of the singer is like a higher pitched Fred Durst style of singing/rapping....I was wondering if you knew who/what song/band I heard...I swear, it was a banjo/heavy rock song....:D
