Who here is a morning person?
Not me. I hate getting up in the mornings and don't speak until I have been awake for at least 30 or so minutes. I would much rather be cozied up in my bed sleeping until at least 9:00. And 9:00 is still early, but I hate to sleep the whole day away. Plus my Bella gets up before that.

4. Possibly.
Yet, I wish I was a morning person. I would love to roll out of bed all chipper at 6:30, but no, I curse the day. But I get over it in about an hour or so.

16. Guilty, Guilty, Not Guilty, Guilty!
I get up at 5:30AM, if I don't wakke up before then.

I am Godless,

I am Communist (or at least a sympathiser)

Not a Muslim, though I have deep respect for Islam.

I am a freak.

6. That is a fair trade-off I guess, but DAMN 6:45?
My poor husband has to be at work at 6:30, and his work is a 30 minute drive away. He doesn't get home until 6:00 pm on an early day. SUCKS! He is NOT a morning person either.

9. Most of our work is in the other time zones.
So, it really makes sense for our people to start early, then after lunch they can work their western stuff. It just makes us more efficient.

We have two shifts, one that starts at 6:45, the other at 7:30. I live 15 minutes from the office. I get up an hour before work starts.

I wish I were like that. I do think with age some of us tend to get up earlier. I haven't noticed that yet. But I am only 30. Maybe when I am 50, I will be up and greeting the day by 6ish!

After a year of trying to convince my job my schedule should be changed so I can start work at noon instead of 10 am they agreed so now can sleep in until after 10 if I want :D. Now I get to joke with some in my dept that I go to sleep when they're waking up to come in.

27. That would be me. I'm nearly always up before 5:00 a.m., even on weekends.
If I'm still asleep at 6:00 a.m. I feel like I've slept in. I think it was too many years of forced early rising in order to get kids ready for school and me ready for work that permanently altered my internal alarm. If I'm a houseguest or camping with a group, everyone can expect to have coffee ready and waiting for them when they arise.

29. The only way I like mornings is if I'm still up from the night before
AND getting ready to go to bed. As far as sleeping at night and getting up and the crack of dawn, fuck that noise. I'm beyond grumpy when I have to do that. I wake up slow and get grumpier as the day goes on. Give me my afternoons and evenings any time. I'm MUCH easier to get along with then. :P

I hate getting up early.

Trained my kids when they were babes to sleep in with me.

People would tell me their kids went to bed at 7:30, and that sounded great. Then I'd ask, "And what time do they get up?" "5:30"

Not for me!

What time does Bella wake up?

33. Bella is freakin' awesome, I tell ya. She goes to bed at 7:45 and
wakes up on an early morning at 7:45. She can sleep as late as 8:30. And a couple of times 9:00! I am lucky to have a sleeper. BUT she hardly naps during the day. The daycare even asked me how I got her to take naps, and I told them when they figured it out to let me know. On a good day she has an hour nap. She is a power napper. 10 minutes here, 15 minutes there... Good to go.

42. Okay - this is what you do.
Make the coffee the way you always do; but then, add International Coffee brand French Vanilla creamer. Pour enough of the creamer so that the coffee takes on a pale tan color.

My son, who is 13 years old, LOVES it. :)

I miss graveyard shift work. I used to LOVE coming home in the early morning, with the pretty sunrise mist all over the hills, anticipating a good book, hot tea and kitty snuggles in a soft bed, watching all the bleary-eyed suckers with their coffee and puffy eyes going the other way and thinking, "HAHA sucks to be you!"

All my life, whenever I've gone to bed before midnight (which is pretty much only when I'm seriously ill or jet-lagged) I've felt guilty for wasting the best, most distraction-free, most beautiful, most creative part of the "day."

I'm definitely a night owl which is great because 90% of the time I don't have to be in to work until after 12pm (tomorrow my workday starts at 1:30)...so I can still go to sleep between 3-4am and still get plenty of rest.

I love staying up for sunrise, it's so peaceful and quiet (particularly if I'm at the beach) but getting up sunrise, not for me!

49. I love mornings the best
because I'm rested and relaxed. I get up early to enjoy that time, but not to want to get out and start interacting with the universe right away. So, I'm a morning person but don't call me at 4am while I am enjoying my coffee. I won't pick up the phone.
