20. The blog makes it worthwhile
I used to occasionally try to talk rationally with him about why the words and opinions he expressed were offensive; he always agreed with me but then immediately went top shelf with even more offensive slurs and opinions.

Several times I've lost my temper and yelled at him with my usual adjectives and at best I've gotten an eye-roll and him going top shelf, and at worst I've just gotten him going top shelf.

I decided to write the blog and now everything he says is a blessing.
