Why I won't apply to be a moderator...

Likely scenario:

OP: "I like oranges."

Post 1: "Oranges are sort of like grapefruit, but not as large. I like things that are larger."

Post 2: "BREASTS! I LIKE LARGE BREASTS!"

My Post: "LOCKING!
"You fucking perverts make me SICK! GET THE HELL OFF OF THE SITE! BREASTS? BREASTS? Oh yeah, oranges - you like the tiny ones - I GET IT NOW! Fucking perverts. If you EVER post on DU again I'll lock the FUCK out of ANYTHING you post! GOT IT! I have the POWER! BWAAAAHAAAAHAHAAA!!!!!!"

There's that too.

When I was about 20, I walked into the lobby one Monday afternoon (just arriving for work) and the elderly receptionist asked, "So what did you do this weekend" in a sarcastic voice.

I answered, "Drink, drugs, and debauchery" and continued on my way. There were several other people in the room and my head didn't care.

I'd like to see the breasts and the oranges, too, in any order.

I'm not applying because A: I don't do drama, and the mods must deal with a ton of it. And B: I know the Admins would never be crazy enough to accept me anyways. :)

And then HopeHoops and I would go at it for a few posts, locking and unlocking, until EarlG laid the smackdown on us, making us the first moderators to be put on forced ignore. It would be awkward, but we would be the stuff of legends for years. Even the gang on the FaceBook page would be talking about it.
