seventies.
It was made in Mexico, Latin America. Southern American or some other country, and it focused on a teenage girl, and it had a theme song that contained the lyric...
"porque te vas..."
I think that means something like "why you" or "why are you leaving"?
I must have been twelve years old when my parents took me to see this film. For whatever reason they thought I was old enough, and that it was important that we see this movie, even though it was from some other country.
It did make an impact on me, but I didn't understand it. But I want to go back and find it. La Cria.
Cria.
I only saw it once, but thirty years later I still remember the theme song.
I can't remember the plot. A girl in a lot of trouble, and a theme song something like "porque te vas."
EDIT:
Cria or La Cria...
Another post tonight made me think of this, so it is not totally crazy or random; just a bit crazy and random, lol.
