Remind me again why she's not Queen of All Music?

4. I thought she was QoAM!
Who else can you name to have a major motion picture made from one of her cd's? (Magnolia...great film!)

Her lyrics are just great.

5. One of my all-time absolute favorites.
Aimee Mann resides in my own personal pantheon of contemporary greats, along with Neil Finn, Andy Partridge, and a few others.

As an aside, I'm a music engineer/producer by trade, and the last project I ever worked on as an assistant engineer was the mix of the final 'Til Tuesday album - 'Everything's Different Now'. It's one of my fonder studio memories, and a terrific album for those who don't know it. "The Other End (of the Telescope)" - a collaboration with Elvis Costello - is by itself worth the price of admission, IMO.

Nice thread, SLB!

6. Funny how people who like one thing tend to like others.
I love Finn, Partridge and Costello.
