Yikes!! I just found out a friend of mine was fired for sending pron
to a Conference Minister. Sent something he thought was funny to a whole bunch of e-mail addresses. His bishop disagreed...about it being funny, that is.
Don't know how bad the porn was, but the stupidity was certainly a firing offense!
I have heard a couple stories about clergy getting in trouble for this sort of thing. You do have to be careful about what you send and to who you send it to.
2. First rule of working: the computer and the telephone
provided by an employer is for business purposes. If anyone is shopping on eBay, or sending jokes using company computer on company time - it is done at one's risk.
6. It's the closest thing we have to a bishop. A judicatory big-wig.
Actually, most ministers have very little power. But for a clergyperson to send pron to his/her Conference Minister, well, that is just a special kind of stupid.
11. I know that ministers have very little power, but
I just imagined what would have happened if I sent my minister porn. I am an atheist now, but I would never do something like that because I really am afraid of clergy right now. Just don't want to bother them anymore, sorry.
