Any Veronica Mars fans here?

I just bought the third season. I love that show. It's one of those shows when I saw a preview and thought it was just going to be some dense show starring a pixie stick airhead blonde, but it's awesome. I remember catching an episode sometime in the first season, just out of boredom, and I was glued to the screen after about a minute. Great writing, excellent plots, wonderful character interaction and development. I wish it went a few more seasons, I think it had at least one in it before it slipped in quality, if at all.

The second season wasn't that hot, but it picked up in the third. The first season was solid gold.

I keep hearing rumors that they are trying to get a theatrical film going, maybe one that takes place when Veronica's older and in the FBI and teams up with her dad on a case. Wouldn't that be great?

I rented the first season mostly to have some background noise as I was working one weekend, but we got into it and wound up watching all three seasons. Good stuff--I hope they do get the movie version going at some point :)
