I'm baaaaaack ... did anybody miss me?
Let's see ... in the weeks following my unemployment, I have painted my foyer and living room from a 15 foot scaffold, cleared and painted gutters from a 32 foot extension ladder, sanded and stained my deck, lost 10 pounds, had a colonoscopy (yeah, that gallon of buzzard puke you have to drink the night before is gross!) (but everyone over 50 should do it, dammit!!!).

Oh, and I'm still looking for a job, but it's OK, I'm hanging in there and have some prospects.

Didja miss me? Huh? Huh? Didja?

7. About 22 feet at the peak.
Fucking vaulted ceiling. I'll NEVER buy anything with a second floor, or ceilings over 8 or 9 feet EVER AGAIN!!

They found and removed two pre-cancerous polyps, so it's a good thing I went in for it!

Good luck with your new job. I forgot to add that my band has been playing almost every weekend, so that helps a bit with the $$$.

I thought maybe you'd moved to find a job.

Glad you had the colonoscopy. My mother's cancer was caught very, very early because she had the procedure.

How's the job search going? I got a job and started yesterday. It's not enough to cover rent/utilities and car payment, but it's a job.
