6. I think the two of you are obsessing
over Ms. Krall.

Another singer you can drool over is Jane Monheit. A fabulous talent. I saw her in concert a couple of year ago and not only does she put on a great show, she is a very graciouis and compassionate person.

I even have her Christmas CDs...

plus, I saw her live at The Dakota Jazz Club here in Minneapolis last fall.

The beautiful Ms. Monheit does not, as far as I know, have anything on Vinyl yet.

9. she is wonderful and a great talent
and no, I do not judge talent on whether or not they have vinyl, just mentioning that I cant go out and buy any of her albums on Vinyl, even though I have them all on CD.

10. Terrific talent! Holy cow! Which is better?
There is no contest. They are both heavenly.

And just to keep us all honest:

She passed away from cancer in 1996, just as her star began its ascendancy.

She is also a fabulous artist: http://www.evacassidy.com/

I easily put her in the same class as Jane Monheit and Diana Krall. The world is so much richer for them all.

We've had fun with World Tour and I'm looking forward to this one coming out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_Hero_Smash_Hits#Soundtrack I'm not masochistic enough to try my hand at that many Metallica songs in a row.

17. Worth buying the LPs just for the covers
That the music inside is wonderful is an extra bonus.

Drop-dead gorgeous, great singer, wonderful pianist. Costello is one lucky SOB.

26. on vinyl?
Nice....

All my vinyl is all gone :(

Sacrificed back in 1996 when my turntable died and I moved into a postage stamped sized apartment.... plus my beloved Luna dog decided the Grateful Dead Europe '72 would make a good chew toy....
