You know, it would be so easy to just give up.
Ohio Unemployment had to start a new benefit year in March since my benefits ran out. Back in January, my former employer fought my claim. ODJFS ruled in my favor and I got unemployment.

Fast forward to now. The same employer was notified that my benefits are being extended. They're fighting it, again. Nothing has changed. It's a technicality to restart the year.

I have $3.94 to my name. ODJFS is holding last week's unemployment payment until this is resolved. They'll give my former employer at least a week or more to reply.

I can't do this anymore. I just can't.

I'm going to have to ask Lelapin for $$ so I can put gas in my car to get to work. And work? I'll get a check for 5 days in two weeks. Damn.

I am so sorry to hear that this is happening (and has been happening) to you. I had a really rough patch for a while and I honestly wondered if things would get better. They did and they will. Hang in there.
