I think I almost killed myself today
Lil blogslut had to move her stuff from her dorm to my house for 24 hours. Tomorrow she moves into another dorm.

S'anyway, I walks over to her dorm in 90 degree weather. We packs up her stuff, lug it downstairs and pile it into her friend's car. No room for mom in the car so I walk back home and arrive to all her stuff, sitting on my porch. (She and friend went to go see the new Star Trek - bitch). I lug all the stuff into the house. I peel off my sweat drippy clothes. Pile my hair onto my head. Grab me some of my precious baby wipes to cool myself and get the stank off. I look into the mirror and my face is beet red. Neck and arms are still pale.

I think to myself "Maybe I got a sunburn." So, I apply some of my magic healing potion to my face and slather on some nice face cream. Face is still beet red. It stayed beet red for a half hour. Then, poof. Red face gone.

What do you guys think? Heat exhaustion?

1. More than likely.
Glad you're okay. But even if you're feeling okay now, drink lots of fluid anyway. Better safe than sorry.

2. Forgot to mention
I downed two glasses of water after I got home. Stayed still for about three hours.

I used to get heat exhaustion when I was little but I don't remember the red face business. Of course, I was little and my mom had to force me to come inside and lay down.

Anyways, thanks for that. I'm glad I'm better too. :)

3. Don't be hard on yourself
It's Texas' fault.

Always blame Texas.

5. Wow, some of that sounds like heat exhaustion.
But the red face sounds like you were having a symptom of heat stroke. You probably saved yourself with those 2 glasses of water, damn.

You are a very giving mother.

7. Honey
I'm going to be glad if she remembers that Sunday is Mother's day. She's a great kid but she sucks at remembering stuff like that.

Don't worry. I won't put myself on the line like that tomorrow.

10. Took a nap
Now I'm up while lil precious sleeps in my bed. If she forgets Mother's day, I am gonna score a million guilt points. :)
