8. When I looked through the book, I first thought it was funny, but...

...after awhile, it became clear that the author should have been honest and titled it "Things Liberal Elitists Who Are Out Of Touch With The Common People Such As You And Me Like." In other words, a parody whose main point is how ridiculous people are who aren't "normal Americans," and thus don't get all their pleasure from huntin', country music, NASCAR, and fantasizing about Sarah Palin.
