You'd think that Denise Crosby, in her four years off Star Trek, would have taken acting classes.

Obviously she didn't.

Too bad.

She's really, really awful.

6. I always thought that most of the acting on ST: TNG was pretty bad
with very few exceptions.

20. To be honest...
...I knew she was somehow related to Bing, but I went to her IMDB page to see if she was who I thought she was. I read her bio.

9. Is she bad in everything? I don't know her, but sometimes it's the director's fault.
Edited on Mon May-11-09 07:09 PM by Mike 03
One actress will be competent or semi-competent in one film (an actress I don't really want to name who appeared in, oh, hell, let's say "Closer" directed by Mike Nicholes, who looks like she has never even played "pretend" as a child in a series of three films by George Lucas). Just asking, could it possibly be poor direction?

Or is this just another case of a gorgeous woman who simply cannot act.

Nicholas Cage is also an actor who can be relatively good or embarrassing beyond belief. An even better example is Harrison Ford.

Thank you for mentioning this. It is the truth. And one of the mysteries of young actresses.

:hi:

15. The only Tasha Yar episode that was remotely bearable was Yesterday's Enterprise
Edited on Mon May-11-09 09:11 PM by Liberal Veteran
In part because we got the joy of watching her sent to her "death" a second time and at least this time it wasn't death by a black Hefty bag with some glitter sprayed on it.

On edit: Sela was a horrible, horrible idea (a blond Romulan?).
