This one is so easy for me:

Springsteen's "Born in the USA" tour.

The very early U2 "Zoo TV" tours, before they started playing stadiums.

Springsteen's tense "Tunnel of Love" tour.

ON EDIT:

Madonna's "Blonde Ambition" tour (I think it was called that--the one that "Truth or Dare" was based around).

3. That's why there's "unofficial" live audio and video releases.
There's quite a few proshot DVDs from the "Born In The USA" tour.

I wish there was an official DVD of Frank Zappa's 1988 tour.

5. "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones"
This is an official movie made of their 1972 tour, and released in 1974 to the theaters, but it's never been released on DVD.

At least not officially.......

6. Bob Dylan w/ Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, 1986
or for that matter, 1987. There's a DVD of just the Dylan numbers from the Australian leg of the tour (or one of them), but I'd like the Petty numbers, too. After the first show I saw, I went out and bought the 4 most recent Dylan records (up to "Knocked Out Loaded," which is how I know it was '86), but it was "Straight Into Darkness" that stayed with me, and "The Waiting" that knocked my socks off.
