My husband is not a possessive guy - and I don't think men really are that possessive. I can't see why they would need to be. Also biology would disagree with you, in many cases.

That was the reason I was given to break up our marriage. I was part of the "oppressive patriarchy." My daughter never believed it, and my ex recanted it. I have every fault you can imagine, but that's a pretty tough accusation to make against a 9 year old in the 1950s who rushed to his mother's defense when she was beaten to a pulp, and was only rescued from death by the cops.

Anyway, life is an adventure. It's all OK.
