Dinner Review.

Food - okay

Service - okay, although the copious amounts of mascara were a bit distracting.

Overall I give it a 4.

Should have gone to Dead Lobster. At least there you get Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

8. Lobster fettucine. The lobster pieces were delicious
but the sauce on the pasta tasted a bit burnt to me. Mr. and Baby both had shrimp scampi and liked it, so it could be that it was just my dish that wasn't all that good.

14. I love the dumplings, and always go all carb at the Barrell
Well, with a bit of chicken thrown in with the dumplings, taters with gravy, corn or hash brown casserole (two potatoes!), and biscuits. With tea.

Pot pie is only so-so, imo.

13. ARRRGGHH -- DO NOT SAY "SHRIMP SCAMPI" --IT'S SCAMPI!
Edited on Fri May-15-09 06:18 PM by LostinVA
You don't say "steak steak," corn corn," etc. It's scampi.

Pet peeve of mine -- drives me crazy.

Also, tehre is no such thing as "chicken scampi." It's chicken cooked in butter and garlic.
