It's gallstones. Will see doctor today to decide what to do. He is a Chinese Osteopath, so his treatment is unconventional (he's upsetting the other docs at our local hospital coz people are going to him in droves as word gets out. He just moved here from FL)
Anyhow, I'm relieved (sorta coz I'm still not feeling that great). I'll let you all know what happens.
Almost all the gallstone treatments that help have to do with surgery of some sort (removal generally) but I have heard that sometimes eating a strict diet will help control the worst symptoms but that likely won't make the problem go away...My dad actually went to the hospital thinking he was having a heart attack, then when that wasn't the case thought it was bad heartburn but it turned out to be gallstones. And yes, he had his gall bladder removed.
