I feel like a can of smashed assholes
What was supposed to be a routine meeting turned into a marathon when approximately, 24,362 teachers showed up to voice their displeasure with the mayor's proposed budget. All of them spoke. Oh, and 2,321 indignant PTA officers and 787 peeved students spoke, too. And a guy sang a song about Manchester set to the tune of "Edelweis".

Meanwhile, I am running a slight fever, and the bread sticks I had with dinner are giving me heartburn.

Can I go to bed now?

It is indeed a minor league baseball logo. The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are the Toronto Blue Jay's farm club that plays here in Manchester.

A fisher cat is a weasel on steroids. They are nasty, carnivorous critters that are common in New England forests. They have a blood-curdling screech that will scare the bejeezus out of you.

13. I have a BaySox cap!
When the switched logos a few years ago, the Fisher Cats souvenir shop had them for a buck, along with a bunch of other teams who made small changes to their caps. I picked up eight hats for eight dollars!

Frankly, if the best that they can come up with is some goofy, off-hand remarks in The Lounge, then they are pretty sad.

I rarely drink, never smoked marijuana or used any other illegal drug, was only arrested once (at a South African embassy protest 24 years ago), have been married to the same woman for fourteen years, and am, in general, pretty damn boring.

12. Smashed Assholes... I think I saw them in Somerset, WI in 1986
I don't remember the show, so it must've been pretty good.
