Did anyone here watch the TV show Resurrection Blvd?
Edited on Tue May-19-09 11:09 PM by fishwax
I never saw it while it was on TV, but I watched the DVD of the 1st season this week, and thought it was a really good show. It ran for three seasons on Showtime from 2000-2002. (Unfortunately the 2nd and 3rd seasons haven't been released on DVD, and maybe never will.)

It was about an East LA boxing family that had produced three generations of boxers and was on the verge of producing a world champion. The show focused on the changes the family dealt with, both professionally and personally. I'm curious if anyone else has seen it. (If you haven't, and you're ever looking for a TV show on DVD to kill a few nights with, this is a good one ...)

3. I liked her character too
She helped keep everyone kind of centered. I liked her relationship with the father--even though he gave her a lot of flack in person, he would occasionally fight for her behind the scenes.

2. Sounds like a title of a Stryper album
Kind of their Christianized version of Sweet's "Desolation Blvd".
