Sometimes I don't feel like cooking at all when it's my turn. I envy my dog. I can always give him Purina Dog Chow.

I wish there was Purina Human Chow. I'd eat it sometimes.

I lurve(d) their Market Fresh Sandwiches and those little stuffed potato triangle thingies. It's just that nasty roast beast with the cheese squirts that make me queasy.

12. True, but in the future, Bachelor Chow will come with "flavor"
On a side note, the Dinty Moore beef stew we ate in college was always referred to as "Dinky Dog" beef stew, in deference to the dog food Mel Gibson and his dog ate in The Road Warrior.

8. As Carson would have said: I. Did. Not. Know. That.
Problem is that Purina does not use "human grade" ingredients in its animal chow.

14. That does seem to be a problem
Here's a video I found (#7 of 7) of a guy that went on a 7 day diet of Monkey Chow. His weight was normal at the beginning and he lost 5lbs. Overall he gives it a thumbsdown. Poor monkeys. I bet they don't really like it either.

11. Sure. Sounds like a good idea.
Cheap, portable, easily stored, and balanced nutrition. There certainly ought to be a market for that.

16. It's called cereal.
We already have human chow. It's called cereal.

That being said, as much as I consider myself a foodie, when I am busy on a project I often wish I could just eat some human kibble and be done with it. However, I don't think I'd trust it if it were made by Purina.

23. Jack in the Box used to be owned by Ralston Purina
and therefore really could be considered Purina Human Chow

http://www.jackinthebox.com/corporate/press-room/fact-sheets/company/

"1970 - Foodmaker, Inc. merged into Ralston Purina's Checkerboard Properties, Inc. operations, which then changed its name to Foodmaker, Inc. Ralston Purina operated the company as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Under Ralston Purina, Jack in the Box restaurants underwent a major expansion in an effort to penetrate the eastern and midwestern markets, and the business grew to over 1,000 restaurants by 1979. That same year, Foodmaker, Inc. decided to concentrate its efforts and resources in the western and southwestern markets, which it believed offered the greatest growth and profit potential. Accordingly, the company sold or closed 232 Jack in the Box restaurants in the eastern and midwestern markets."

36. I've often thought this. Why do I have to go to all the trouble of
thinking about a balanced diet, and cooking, and stuff, when I could just pour something in a bowl? I like the idea of "Bachelor Chow".

So, yes, I'd eat it.
