Car Wash Thief – Unbelievable!! Caught on film ...
Bill owns a company that manufactures and installs car wash systems. (Magic Wand Car Wash Systems, just in case you want to buy one.) Bill's company installed a car wash system in Frederick, Md. Now understand that these are complete systems, including the money changer and money taking machines.

The problem started when the new owner complained to Bill that he was losing significant amounts of money from his coin machines each week.

He went as far as to accuse Bill's employees of having a key to the boxes and ripping him off.

Bill just couldn't believe that his people would do that, so they setup a camera to catch the thief in action. Well, they did catch him on film!

That's a bird sitting on the change slot of the machine.

The bird had to go down into the machine, and back up inside to get to the money!

That's three quarters he has in his beak! Another amazing thing is that it was not just one bird -- there were several working together. Once they identified the thieves, they found over $4000 in quarters on the roof of the car wash and more under a nearby tree.

And you thought you heard of everything!

10. I've seen that before. I love it!
I think the birds thought the hole in the machine would make a great nesting cavity and were cleaning out all the junk in it (the coins) to make room.

11. I had some NASTY bastards outside my front door for a several years
on my porch light.

The two years they kept trying to build a nest in my mailbox - I kept throwing the twigs OUT of my mailbox.

The next year they tried several times again and I pummeled my mailbox with bug spray and everything I could think of to keep them from making a next in my mailbox.

The next year they started building the twigs on top my porch light. By the time I realized it (over my head so I didn't see it) there were eggs in the nest, so I took pity and decided to let it go until they hatched.

The mother bird started darting for my head every time I walked out my front door! (Because I was near HER nest of babies on my porch light). I could not check my mail or retrieve my mail without being attacked by her, and eventually, several other bastard blackbirds!!

I put up with this until they hatched, because I am an idiot, and didn't want to kill the babies by knocking the damn nest down.

Little did I know at the time that building a nest on top of my porch light is also a fire hazard. It never happened to me - but it happened to my neighbor. Those dry twigs can start on fire if the light is left on overnight. Ask me - I'm the one who had to call the fire department and wake up my neighbor that night when I smelled smoke coming in my bedroom window. His electrical work caught fire too!

The babies finally hatched and I only got nailed in the head a couple times in the interim while retrieving my mail. Damn blackbirds are MEAN too!

I knocked that nest down and sprayed it to death.

Last summer I didn't let one start. I removed the fucking porch light too. They have moved one to another unsuspecting victim, I'm sure.

I hate birds.

Imagine training a flock of birds to bag quarters for you all spring and summer!
