We have a birds nest on the back porch.

We have been hearing what sounded like baby birds all week. My mom was on the back porch and saw a birds nest with baby's in it. This would be cute if we did not close our back door every night and we are worried that the mama will not be able to get to them. What should we do we don't want to do anything that might hurt them.

1. Most birds roost at sunset, so the parents should be settled by the

time you close the door. Alternatively, you may have a small gap somewhere that the birds are using.
