Grateful Dead - Help On The Way~Slipknot (3-24-90)
One of my all-time favorite "guitar interplay" songs by the band. Enjoy:

Greek Theater (U of California), Berkeley, CA (5/15/83)

Touch of Grey
New Minglewood Blues
Ramble on Rose
Cassidy
Brown Eyed Women
Hell in a Bucket
Althea
Looks Like Rain
Deal

Help on the Way
Slipknot!
Franklin's Tower
Samson and Delilah
He's Gone
drums
Truckin'
Stella Blue
Throwin' Stones
Not Fade Away

Baby Blue

This is one of my all timers. Bucket in the middle of the first set. The LLRAIN is one of the all timers.

The transition between Help Slip is sublime. In fact it is my second favorite GD Moment ever. Jerry's singing on Samson is better than any other recording I have ever heard of this song. he just hangs that note there so well... The Stella is freaking AMAZING and it was the first bay area Throwin>NFA>crowd clap clap...

4. Truckin' > Stella Blue > Throwin' Stones works for me...
...and that's a pretty impressive set. The only song I'd like to see in there is Wharf Rat, and that's only because I like to see it in EVERY set. "He's Gone" is another fave.

Rhapsody went LARGE on The Dead...they now have ALL of the Dick's Picks and ALL of the Download Series. Here's a personal favorite:

5. okay - being ignorant about the Grateful Dead..
at first I thought that there was some song featuring them and the band - Slipknot - but saw the date and realised that wasn't possible.
Wow! Could you imagine that? *shudder*
