The joys of politics

So, I'm the only politician in Manchester city politics that seems to give a damn about public transit. I supported a major increase in the bus system's operating subsidy, but received little support from the political insiders. I have been beating the drum for the expansion of commuter rail service from Manchester to Boston. I have pushed for a downtown circulator shuttle bus that will become a reality this year.

And what happens? I get an angry email and a Facebook message from a guy who accuses me of not being a supporter of public transit.

Word of advice. If you are going to write your elected officials to complain about something, please make sure you have the facts straight and are criticizing the right person, ok?
