Seems like Whoopi has been eclipsed by Shari

I'm so old I seem to remember that Whoopi was regarded as risque and edgy. But even in the later stages of the concerts with Robin Williams and (Billy KRISTOL?) she appeared to be deferring to the others more and more.

I think it was a serious blow to her when mainstream Dems didn't defend her more during the '04 campaign when the wingnuts accused her of cussing Shrub.

But, also, having reaped some mainstream marks of success---or approval----(the Oscar, and hosting), she has ameliorated?


At first Shari seemed to be a bad pick, seemed insignificant, but now is doing most of the talking, along with the Wingnut, with Whoopi and even Joy sitting by.

tune in a few times since, but can't handle "little miss fox talking points." The last straw for me was when whoopie said she "liked" hannity. I figured she'd pretty much jumped the shark. That show is unwatchable at this point.

the person's job who sits in the far left seat to moderate and keep things on track and under control. Maybe that's why she doesn't have as much input. I've always liked her, but I've never been able to watch that show for very long at a time. I hear something totally stupid being said and I have to change the channel.
